A jury has been sworn in for the trial of a teenager from Crowborough accused of murdering a Government tax adviser in Mayfield earlier this year.
Mr Jeffries, 52, was found dead at his home in Coggins Mill Lane in Mayfield in February, after concerns were raised by colleagues that he had not been seen for a few days.
A post mortem found that Mr Jeffries had died from multiple injuries.
Today a jury, and two reserve jurors, were asked to return to Lewes Crown Court tomorrow (Tuesday 8th), when the prosecuting barrister will make his opening address starting at 2pm.
The trial is expected to last two, maybe three, weeks.
Ben Bamford denies murder.
